DEDON is delighted to announce that the GOOD DESIGN Awards, an annual selection of the most innovative, ecologically-minded design concepts on the market, has designated two of our standout collections for their 2011 GOOD DESIGN “Green
Product” Awards: The NESTREST Hanging Lounger, a concept developed in collaboration with Fred Frety and Daniel Pouzet, and PLAY by Philippe Starck,
a growing collection of game-changing tables and chairs.
Chosen by an expert panel from The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and the European Centre for Architecture, Art,
Design and Urban Studies, NESTREST and PLAY take their place alongside the work of other international leaders in the fields of architecture, design
and manufacturing.
NESTREST by Fred Frety and Daniel Pouzet established itself almost instantly as an icon of contemporary design, garnering worldwide press attention and millions of internet page views within days of its launch.
Inspired by nature and created by two of France’s most intriguing young talents, this teardrop-shaped hanging pod cocoons users in their own private and restful
