Pengelly Design, a London-based studio specializing in furniture and product design, was founded by British designer Simon Pengelly in 1993 after working for the Conran Design Group and the in-house design team of Habitat.

Pengelly's formative training at the bench provides a background of pragmatism that underscores the intelligent solutions that come from his approach to problem solving and his affinity with appropriate materials and production processes, resulting in products of lightness and reduction, understated elegant simplicity and trademark timeless appeal.
