NEMO, lighting division of Cassina S.p.A., launches the new collection “I Maestri”, dedicated to a series of lamps conceived by renowned international designers.
The first products of this new collection are five lighting objects designed by Franco Albini, one of the most important Italian architects of the twentieth century, a great protagonist of functionalism, with an eclectic personality, his work even extended to town planning and industrial design.
Franco Albini’s lamps, brought to life by Nemo with the “I Maestri” collection, are characterized by the essentialist and quality of the materials used- chromed metal and blown glass – and by simple and harmonious lines.
The “I Maestri” collection by Nemo will be soon enriched by creations of other protagonists of the twentieth-century of Italian and international design.
