MERIDIANI was established in 1996 from a simple yet passionate idea of Laura Ferraro Crosti, wife of Renato Crosti, owner of the company. The mission was to conceive, design, and distribute a new home collection distinguished by exquisite style.
MERIDIANI is a certified, 100 percent made in Italy collection, characterized by a recognizable lifestyle; it offers versatile single pieces that can be placed near other design and ethnic artifacts or antiques. It is a timeless collection, yet it is always up to date.
In spring 1996, after months of research, analysis and comparisons - taking advantage of the industrial facilities belonging to the family - the first collection was designed thanks to the coordinated efforts and enthusiasm of Laura and Andrea Parisio, a young designer and art director of the brand. Over the years, Valeria, daughter of Laura and Renato, has taken over and collaborated with the designers as a sign of family continuity.
The collection was shown in the company’s first boutique in Milan, along with its rich textile collection, already a signature element and one of the most distinguishing features of MERIDIANI.
