Gora/McGahey Associates in Architecture was originally established as Bruce T. Gora, AIA Architect in February of 1981. The principals of the firm, Bruce Gora and Dan McGahey have been in practice together since 1985.

During the twenty-eight years of our practice, the firm has provided services for a broad range of projects both in public and private sectors. We have a strong background in healthcare, senior living and institutional work. Our public clients have included: Collier County, Lee County, Charlotte County, City of Fort Myers, City of Bonita Springs, City of Sanibel, Lee County Schools, Collier County Schools, Florida Department of HRS, Florida Department of Management Services, Fort Myers Beach Library District, Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority, United States Postal Service, Florida Department of Children and Families, Florida Department of Management Services, South Trail Fire District, Bonita Springs Fire District, Lehigh Acres Fire District and Florida Gulf Coast University.

Gora/McGahey has been the architect for several leading developers in Southwest Florida including The Mariner Company, WCI Communities, Barron Collier Corporation, Centex Homes, Ronto Group and Bonita Bay Properties.
