dRN Architects was established in 2005 by Nicolás del Río and Max Núñez. The firm is located in Santiago, Chile.
Nicolás del Río (1975) studied at Universidad Católica de Chile achieving his degree in 2001. He did pre graduate studies at the Politecnico di Milano, Italy, during 1998-99. Since 2005 he has been a teacher of the first year Design Studio at the Universidad Andrés Bello, in Santiago, Chile.
Max Núñez (1976) studied at Universidad Católica de Chile achieving his degree and a Master in Architecture at the same school in 2004. He did pre graduate studies at the Politecnico di Milano, Italy, during 1998-99. Since 2005 he has been a teacher of the second year Design Studio at the Universidad Andrés Bello, in Santiago, Chile.
Both have received grants from the Chilean government to do postgraduate studies at universities in USA and the UK through 2009/10.
