Bernardes Jacobsen Arquitetura Firm has two partners; Thiago Bernardes, who started informally practicing architecture due to his day-to-day contact with his father Claudio and grandfather Sergio, and Paulo Jacobsen partner to the three generations of the Bernardes. Together they divide their time between Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, where they command a team of more then 20 architects. Their architecture is simple and at the same time bold, occurring from the inside out, valuing space, details, clarity and luminosity.
